According to the results of the first four months of 2019, the industrial production growth in Ukraine compared to the same period in 2018 amounted to 0.6%. In April-2019 compared to April-2018, the growth was: in the processing industry – 7.4%; in the mining industry and quarrying – 2.7%; in the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – 0.3%.

In 2018 industrial production increased by 1.1% compared to 2017. At the same time, in December-2018 compared to December-2017 the decrease was 3.5%. In 2018, the processing industry grew by 0.2%, mining and quarrying – by 2.1%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – by 2.8%.

Predicting the development of Ukraine for the next 5 years, 58% of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade announced a steady GDP growth of 3-4% per year. According to average estimates, GDP growth in 2019 will be 2.7%, in 2020 – 3%, in 2021 – 3.5%, in 2022 – 4%.

2019 consumer price growth (inflation) is expected to reach an average of 8.7%, in 2020 – 7.6%, in 2021 – 6.8%, and in 2022 – 6%.
